Andrew Gobran

People Person

Hi, i'm Andrew 👋

Service is a core value that runs through most parts of my life and I find joy in investing my time and talents for the good of others. In particular, I enjoy helping people identify their values, skills, and interests and how they can use them to serve those around them.I'm passionate about my faith, youth mentorship, mission work and learning. I enjoy exercising, reading, traveling, learning different coffee brewing methods and spending time with family & friends.

My Work

In an ideal world, organizations wholeheartedly embrace a people-first mindset, where employees are empowered to learn, grow, and utilize their talents in an environment that fosters their overall well-being and success. As a People Operations professional, i'm motivated by the opportunity and responsibility to invest in people and organizations. I have the privilege of shaping organizations that not only align with their core values and mission but also prioritize cultivating a healthy and inclusive culture that focuses on the development and satisfaction of their employees.

Currently, as a People Operations Generalist at Doist, I am entrusted with overseeing a comprehensive range of processes and interactions throughout the entire employee journey. At Doist, our primary focus revolves around developing productivity tools like Todoist and Twist that promote more fulfilling approaches to work and life. As a fully remote and asynchronous-first team, we are a diverse group of nearly 100 individuals spread across 30+ countries.

I've been a remote work enthusiast since the early '90s!
